The Department offers an open platform for students, refugees and all people interested in academic work in Munich to participate in different projects and learn languages together.

Are you interested in establishing contacts to students of the LMU? Do you wish to improve your German languages skills and/or teach your own language to university students? Would you like to establish academic contacts and find out more about life in universities in Germany?
The Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology LMU offers an open platform for refugees and students in Munich. It is an openspace in which we mutually benefit through personal exchange. You can improve your language skills, take part in little projects, listen to lectures or participate in excursions.
We are open for academics as well as non-academics with all language levels. Please come and join in for the forum and conversation tandems!
When?
- Workshops: May 8 & 22
- Lectures/Excursions: June 12 & 26, July 10
- Language tandem-sessions: May 15&29, June 19, July 3
- July 17: final get-together with presentation and discussion of the projects of the workshops
